Welcome to Nomicron!
Nomicron.org is a repository of information for a game of Nomic that started
on 2001-10-01. If you're a visitor or interested in becoming a player, check
out the rest of the site for a history of the game... but read below first.
The next round of Nomicron begins on 2002 Sunday September 8...
To join in the next round, simply send an email to admin@nomicron.org .... let me know your name, email address (it will be subscribed to the nomicron public forum email list), and an alias or nickname by which you'd like to be known. Anyone is welcome to join! Just be sure to do it before 8 September....
The Constitutional Convention
Since 2002-06-06, the game of Nomicron has been in a Constitutional Convention... where the following game status proposals have been passed:
Player Reset
Player point totals shall be reset to zero, any status
or title assigned to players shall be removed (Ninny, Quitter, Apprentice of
Law, etc.), and all Officers except the Administrator shall be dismissed.
Ruleset 2.1
I propose that we abandon the current ruleset in favor of the following ruleset:
Begin the Game 2
The game of Nomicron shall resume on the Sunday following Labor Day.
Player List
At any time prior to the resumption of Nomicron regular
game play, anyone may declare that they intend to play in the upcoming round.
At the time the game begins, they shall be considered active players, but may
declare themselves active prior to that point.
Both currently active players and individuals who have declared their intention to play may designate an alias, by which they will be known in Nomicron. If no alias is declared, they shall be known by their name.
Declarations described here shall be made by notifying the Administrator or the Public Forum.
